Chelsea and Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro this summer.

A product of the Genoa academy, the midfielder joined Juventus in the summer of 2014, and was immediately loaned back to his former club, before he returned to Turin in February last year.

Not a regular starter in Massimiliano Allegri’s team, the midfielder made just 28 appearances across all competitions for the club and was a bit part player in their title winning campaign.

Crystal Palace have been interested in the midfielder since the January transfer window, and according to Tuttosport, Chelsea have also joined their London rivals in the chase for the 23-year-old Italian.

The Blues were also interested in snapping up the midfielder last summer, but failed to snare him away from Juventus. However, with Antonio Conte on board, the club are more confident of getting a deal done.

Crystal Palace are also keeping their foot in the chase and are confident of providing a fight to Chelsea for Sturaro if Juventus decide to sell the player in the coming months.

The midfielder has a contract until 2019 with Juventus and has also earned two caps for the Italian national team.
