Marseille are keen to keep Thauvin, but cannot currently afford to do so, and other clubs are now eyeing a potential move for the 23-year-old winger.

According to Sky Italia, Lazio have asked for information about Thauvin's availability, wage demands and asking price, as they weigh up a deal.

Newcastle are claimed to be looking for arojnd €13m to €14m for the Frenchman, whose salary is €1.8m per year.
