Italian giants Roma are looking at Manchester City right-back Pablo Zabaleta and Inter Milan defender Juan Jesus after missing out on Cristian Ansaldi, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Argentine right-back has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium this summer after seeing his chances being limited for the Sky Blues due to injury last season.




Zabaleta in fact managed a mere 13 Premier League last term and is said to be mulling his options with just a year on his contract.

The Italian giants are interested, with Luciano Spalletti's team looking to strengthen their defence as they look to challenge for the league title next season.
 


The 31-year-old joined the Premier League giants in 2008 from Spanish outfit Espanyol and has since managed an overall 301 appearances for the side, setting up 26 goals for his team-mates.

Another player who is interesting the Giallorossi is Inter Milan defender Jesus, who was snapped up the Nerazzurri in 2012. Jesus played an important role in Roberto Mancini's side last season and helped them return to Europe.

Roma were initially keen on adding full-back Ansaldi to their defensive ranks, but are now looking at alternative options with the Argentine being snapped by Inter.
