Scottish champions Celtic have confirmed that defender Kieran Tierney has put pen to paper on a new five-year contract with the club.

Tierney was in good form for the Bhoys last season and played his part in the club picking up their fifth consecutive top flight title.

He has now secured his future at Celtic Park by putting pen to paper on a new contract running through until the summer of 2021.

Tierney made 34 appearances for Celtic in the recently concluded campaign and netted his first goal for the club on the final day of the season.

The defender was handed Scotland's Player of the Year award due to his fine performances in a green and white shirt.
