Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur are set to take on Serie A giants Inter Milan in Norway in a pre-season encounter.

Spurs, who finished third in the Premier League behind Leicester City and arch-rivals Arsenal last season, will take on Roberto Mancini’s men on 5th August at 5pm local time at the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo.

Inter finished fourth in Serie A last season and have made their return to European competition, but missed out on winning the Coppa Italia when they were ousted by Juventus on penalties in the semi-final.

Mauricio Pochetinno’s men, who confirmed the capture of Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama for an undisclosed fee yesterday, will also take part in International Champions Cup in Australia, where they will take on both Atletico Madrid and Juventus at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium in late July.

The friendly against the Nerazzurri will be Spurs’ first trip to the Scandinavia since 2014, when they took on Scottish giants Celtic in Finland.

Spurs’ 3-1 win over Inter in the Champions League at White Hart Lane in the 2010/11 campaign that saw Gareth Bale score a hat-trick is another one of the memorable matches.
