Tottenham Hotspur’s England star Harry Kane has insisted that he is willing to give 110 per cent in every game.

22-year-old Kane, who made 38 league appearances last season, emerged as the Premier League’s highest goalscorer with a total of 25 goals for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

The Spurs star started two of England group stage games against Russia and Wales, but was dropped to the bench against Slovakia, as the Three Lions finished second in their group behind Chris Coleman’s Welsh side.

Kane has insisted that he will give 110 per cent for the English side in every game he plays and has said that he feels sharp, following criticism regarding his form.

He told the BBC: "I feel sharp and ready.

"When I was playing in the European Under-21 Championship last summer people were saying the same thing.

"But if I get called upon I'll go out there and give 110%.

"We have done what we needed to do.

"We have got out of the group stage and into the knockout stage.

“The focus now is on Iceland. We fancy ourselves against anyone and we are very confident in our ability."

England will now face Iceland in the last 16 of the European Championship on Monday in Nice.

If Roy Hodgson’s men do succeed in progressing into the next round, they will face the winners of the game between France and the Republic of Ireland next Sunday.
