Manchester United will not offer more than €37m for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, it has been claimed, and Borussia Dortmund are considering their options regarding the winger.

The 27-year-old winger’s future at the Westfalenstadion has been on a knife’s edge as his agent Mino Raiola has been trying to push for a transfer to Manchester United over the last few weeks.

The Italian super agent has insisted that his client won’t sign a new deal, which expires at the end of next season, and revealed that the Armenian wants to leave Dortmund this summer.

Manchester United have already knocked on Dortmund’s door, and according to local daily Ruhr Nachrichten, they are not willing to pay more than €37m for Mkhitaryan.

It has been suggested that Dortmund are only prepared to sell the player for a fee of €40m, and are considering their options regarding the winger’s future at Westfalenstadion.

BVB had previoulsy held on to Robert Lewandowski before allowing the player to leave the club on a free transfer a few years ago, but the Bundesliga outfit are sceptical about forcing Mkhitaryan, who has also been on Arsenal's radar, to play out the final year of his contract.

Dortmund are already lining up replacements for the Armenia captain and are reportedly in talks to sign Wolfsburg winger Andre Schurrle this summer.
