Chelsea target Radja Nainggolan has dropped a big hint that he will not be going anywhere this summer.

Incoming Blues manager Antonio Conte, who is currently at Euro 2016 in charge of the Italy squad, is keen to have the Roma midfielder at his disposal by the time he lands at Stamford Bridge.

But doing a deal with Roma for Nainggolan has proven difficult for Chelsea and there is now every possibility that the Belgium international, himself at the European Championship, will stay put.

Speaking to Sky Italia, Nainggolan dropped a big hint he is set to stay in Italy, although he insists Euro 2016 is his current focus.

"Three of my team-mates play in Italy and we are fond of it. It would be stupid to say that is not the case", he explained, when tackled about his future.

"I became a man in Italy and I am definitely supporting Italy [against Spain].

"Not just for my friends, but because I have spent so much of my life in that country."

Asked if he will spend more time in Italy, Nainggolan replied: "Yes, I think so.

"Now I am concentrating on here, but I am very happy where I am.

"I am not someone who often changes team. For now I am focused on here, then we will see what happens."

Chelsea have already been linked with turning their attention to alternative targets, one of which is another Belgian in the shape of Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel.
