Juventus are expected to offer a new contract to Manchester United and Real Madrid target Paul Pogba after the European Championship.

The 23-year-old midfielder’s future at Juventus has come under the scanner this summer with speculation suggesting that Real Madrid and Manchester United are jostling for the player.

While Real Madrid have reportedly put their pursuit for Pogba on hold, Manchester United are going full steam to take the Frenchman back to Old Trafford this summer, despite the exorbitant figures mentioned in terms of the transfer fee and wages.

However, Juventus remain keen to hold on to the player and were expected to meet his agent, Mino Raiola, yesterday to discuss the future of the Frenchman.

And according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, the Italian champions are planning to hold one round of talks with the Italian super agent after the European Championship to discuss a new deal for Pogba.

Juventus are willing to offer a new five-year contract to the Frenchman, and bump up his salary to €6m per season, which will make him one of the best paid players in Italy.

Raiola is reportedly demanding a salary of around €12m to €13m per season from Pogba’s suitors and it remains to be seen whether Pogba chooses to remain in Turin despite lucrative offers from England and Spain.
