New Leeds United signing Marcus Antonsson is delighted his switch to Elland Road is now official.

Antonsson has been lined up for a move to Leeds in recent days, but only today did the Whites officially announce his arrival and he becomes head coach Garry Monk's first signing.

Antonsson most recently turned out for Kalmar in Sweden and when he departed the club for England he was the Allsvenskan's top goalscorer.

He is thrilled to have joined Leeds and posted a photograph of himself posing with the club's new away kit.

"This is a dream comeback true and I'm so happy", the Swedish striker added.

Antonsson worked under Leeds assistant boss Pep Clotet at Halmstads and left a lasting impression on the Spaniard, meaning the Whites were quick to chase his signature this summer.

The striker has signed a contract with Leeds to keep him at the club until the summer of 2019 and will now be looking to help the Whites challenge for promotion to the Premier League in the forthcoming Championship campaign.
