Rangers manager Mark Warburton has been urged to dip into the transfer market to secure a target man up front.
Warburton has been busy in the summer transfer market so far, adding a goalkeeper, a defender and a clutch of midfielders. The attacking department however has been left untouched.
Former Rangers forward Colin Stein feels that Warburton should act and should look to secure a moble centre-forward who can act as a target man.
The Gers legend bemoaned Rangers not being dangerous enough from set pieces, something a target man could help to resolve.
"I would have liked to have seen a target man up front, a centre-forward", he told Rangers TV, commenting on the club's transfer dealings to date.

"I think you've got to have a target man. If you watched them last year from corner kicks and that, they very seldom put the ball in the box", Stein explained.
"I would like to see a mobile centre-forward."
Warburton prefers to operate with a 4-3-3 formation, but has staffed his attack full of small, quick players, rather than looking for strikers who are known for their prowess in the air.
Ryan Hardie has been tipped as a possible answer to the issue, however it remains to be seen whether Warburton feels he is ready for regular first team football at Ibrox.
