Premier League outfit Bournemouth are close to securing a deal to sign La Havre striker Lys Mousset, who has also been on the radar of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

A product of the famous Le Havre academy, the 20-year-old forward caught the attention of scouts from all over Europe with his sparkling performances in the French second division.

Arsenal and Tottenham, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, have been keeping tabs on the striker, who scored 14 goals for Le Havre last season, but they were not the only ones following Mousset.

It has been claimed that the Premier League outfit Southampton were also closely following the young forward, and he was also attracting interest from Sevilla, CSKA Moscow, Sunderland and Monaco amongst others.

However, it seems Premier League minnows Bournemouth have stolen a march over the others for Mousset and according to L’Equipe, they are on the verge of securing his signature.
