Real Madrid have been linked with a swoop for Arsenal and Chelsea target N’Golo Kante this summer.

The 25-year-old’s midfield performances last season formed the engine room behind Leicester City’s miraculous Premier League title win.




The Frenchman also earned a place in the France squad for the European Championship on the back of his performances for the Foxes and is now attracting interest from some of the big wigs of Europe.

Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with a swoop for Kante, and even Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be keen to take the midfielder back to France this summer.
 


And according to Spanish daily AS, Real Madrid have joined the growing queue of clubs who are keen to snare Kante away from the East Midlands in the coming days.

Zinedine Zidane was impressed by Casemiro’s performances as a defensive midfielder last season, but believes they need one more player for the position next term.

And it has been claimed the Frenchman has asked the Real Madrid hierarchy to consider snapping up Kante from Leicester City this summer.

The Frenchman has a €25m release clause in his contract, and Leicester are said to be keen to offer him improved terms in order to hold on to Kante beyond the transfer window.
