Wojciech Szczesny's agent is meeting with Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini in Milan over the coming days in an effort to find a solution to keep the Arsenal goalkeeper in the Italian capital.

The Poland international custodian spent last term on loan at Roma from Arsenal and was a regular fixture between the sticks for the Giallorossi.

Szczesny is keen to remain at Roma for the forthcoming campaign, but Arsenal have so far not been impressed by the Italians' efforts to conclude another loan deal.

According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Roma's sporting director Sabatini is to hold talks in Milan with Szczesny's agent in an attempt to find a solution to the impass.

Roma are hoping that Arsenal can be persuaded to allow the shot-stopper to spend another season on loan at the club.
