Young Chelsea midfielder Jeremie Boga is set to join La Liga side Granada on a season-long loan deal this summer.

A product of the Chelsea academy, the youngster joined Rennes for his first loan stint away from west London last summer and was a crucial part of their first team squad last season.




He made 31 appearances for the French side, including 27 Ligue 1 outings, and earned praise for his performances in France, leading to interest from clubs such as Nice.

With some success at Rennes, Chelsea are set to send him on another loan stint this summer, but Boga is not expected play his football in France next season.
 


According to French sports daily L’Equipe, the France Under-19 international will move to Spain and join La Liga side Granada on another season-long loan deal for further first team opportunities.

Chelsea will be hoping that Boga can replicate his success with Rennes in Spain too and play regular first team football at Granada.

Boga has earned considerable success in youth football at Chelsea and will be keen to make the most of his opportunity if he finally moves to Spain this summer.

He has a contract until 2019 with the Blues.
