Inter are quickly closing in on a deal for Liverpool target Marko Pjaca, who could well have a medical with the Nerazzurri on Monday, it has been claimed.

The Croatia forward, who was in action for his country at Euro 2016, has attracted attention from a number of clubs this summer, including Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.

But it is Inter who have taken charge in the race for Pjaca, with a €15m bid slapped in to the player's club side Dinamo Zagreb, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is now working hard to quickly close out the agreement, while Pjaca himself could be booked in for a medical on Monday.

The news will be a big boost for the Nerazzurri, who appear to have acted quicker than their rivals to get a deal over the line for the highly rated Croatia international.

Pjaca, 21, has been tipped for big things and broke through to the senior Croatia squad soon after joining Dinamo Zagreb in 2014.

He will join a side that finished fourth in Serie A last season under the leadership of coach Roberto Mancini.
