Leeds United's capture of Kyle Bartley from Swansea City is expected to go ahead as planned.

The Whites have completed the loan of Giuseppe Bellusci to Empoli, the Italian side holding a purchase option, and Bartley is expected to slot into the squad to replace the defender.

Bellusci had featured on a regular basis with Leeds following his arrival at the club from Catania in the summer of 2014.

Bartley's move to Leeds is also expected to be a loan deal as he reunites with former Swansea boss Garry Monk, who is now the head coach at Elland Road.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are putting the finishing touches to Bartley's move to Elland Road and the switch is expected to go ahead.
