West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has reiterated that the club would not welcome any offers for Dimitri Payet this summer.

Payet was snapped up from Marseille last summer, with West Ham paying what is now considered to have been a bargain price of just £10m.

He turned on the style for the Hammers last season and is now impressing for France at Euro 2016, something which has fuelled talk of a move elsewhere with Chelsea and Real Madrid linked.

But Gold insists West Ham are not looking to sell and would not welcome a bid for Payet.

He wrote on Twitter: "I have always said, we do not welcome any bid for Dimitri Payet."
