Aston Villa are on the verge of securing the signature of former Manchester United academy goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini, it has been claimed.

The 21-year-old, who is currently on Hellas Verona’s books, is set to return to England as Villa look to provide the final touches to an agreement with the Italian club.




The Villans have been pushing to bring Gollini to England over the last few days, and according to Sky Italia, the Championship outfit are finalising the last details of their agreement with Hellas Verona.

It has been suggested that the Italian has been offered a four-year contract with the Villans, and has been waiting for them to agree a fee with his current side.
 


Villa have reached an agreement with Hellas Verona over for a transfer fee of €5m, and Gollini is expected to travel to England soon to finalise his transfer to Villa Park.
