Tottenham Hotspur have joined Liverpool in holding an interest in Germany international Jonas Hector.

Hector has impressed with his progress at Bundesliga side 1.FC Koln, while he is now enhancing his reputation with Germany at Euro 2016.




The defender is attracting serious interest from England, where Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a firm fan of his abilities.

And now, according to German daily Express, Tottenham can be added to the list as the White Hart Lane side are taking a liking to Hector.
 


Hector's performances for Germany in France mean Koln may have a battle on their hands to keep hold of the left-footed defender, whose value is increasing by the game.

There is also interest in Hector in the Bundesliga, with Wolfsburg keeping a close eye on the situation, especially as left-back Ricardo Rodriguez is likely to leave the Volkswagen Arena this summer.

Hector only has two years left to run on his current contract with Koln, something which may feed into the club's thinking this summer.

The left-back made 32 appearances in the Bundesliga for Koln last season.
