New Everton manager Ronald Koeman is ready to use a portion of his transfer kitty to sign Bruno Martins Indi from FC Porto, according to Portuguese sports daily O Jogo.

Koeman has taken charge at Goodison Park and is claimed to have €130m to spend on new players this summer as he looks to turn the Toffees into a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League.

He knows Martins Indi well, having worked with the Netherlands international defender at Feyenoord, and has zeroed in on the 24-year-old as a priority signing.

It is unclear whether Porto will be willing sellers when it comes to Martins Indi, but Everton could offer the club a big profit on the €7.7m paid to sign the defender from Feyenoord in 2014.

Martins Indi came through the youth ranks at De Kuip, before choosing to leave to continue his career in Portugal with Porto.
