Jurgen Klopp is plotting to take Borussia Dortmund winger Jakub Blaszczykowski to Liverpool during the summer transfer window, according to German daily Bild.

The 30-year-old spent the last season on loan at Fiorentina, and still has two years left on his contract with the Westfalenstadion outfit.

However, it is unclear whether the player features in Thomas Tuchel’s plans for the new season, and it has been claimed that Klopp is keen to take him to Liverpool this summer.

The Liverpool boss remains a big fan of the 30-year-old winger, as the Pole was an important part of his Dortmund teams that won two league titles at the start of the decade.

However, Blaszczykowski remains keen to continue at the Westfalenstadion, and is set for talks with the club’s hierarchy over the new few days over his future at the club.
