Stoke City are expected to make an offer for Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina this summer, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia.

The Italian champions signed the Gabon international from Marseille on loan last summer, and later made the move permanent after the 22-year-old earned praise for his performances in Italy in the limited opportunities he got in Turin last season.

A number of English clubs are interested in Lemina, with Premier League champions Leicester City believed to be keen to add him to their title winning squad this summer.

However, Claudio Ranieri’s men could face competition for Stoke City as the Potters are preparing to slap in a bid for the Juventus midfielder in the upcoming days.

It has been claimed that Mark Hughes’ men are prepared to offer a fee of around €12m to €13m for Lemina this summer, and are hoping to hold talks with Juventus soon.

It is unclear whether Juventus are overly enthusiastic about selling the 22-year-old, but the Italian champions are expected to study the offer closely before making a decision.

He made 13 appearances for Juventus last season, and has a contract until 2020 with the club.
