West Ham United striker Enner Valencia is not keen on moving to China despite an offer from the country being higher than that proposed by Lazio.

Valencia is looking to move on from the Hammers this summer as he seeks to secure regular first team football for the forthcoming campaign.

Lazio are hoping to sign the Ecuadorian on loan with a view to a permanent move, but have not yet been able to find an agreement with West Ham.

For the Hammers, selling Valencia to the Chinese club would mean pocketing a tidy fee, more than would be on offer from Lazio, even with a mandatory purchase option in any loan, according to Sky Italia.

Valencia would also receive a higher wage than that on offer in Italy – but the striker is still not keen on leaving Europe.

Nevertheless, West Ham are expecting Lazio to improve their offer for Valencia, as they seek to sign the Ecuador international.

Valencia could force the issue next week as he aims to resolve his future and not let it drag on throughtout the summer.

However, the player's agent has made clear that although he would like to leave West Ham, he is not desperate to depart.
