Antonio Sanabria is to undergo a medical with Real Betis today ahead of sealing a switch to the Spanish La Liga outfit.

The Paraguay international, who is currently under contract with Roma, has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, amid claims the Premier League club have seen an offer refused by the Italian giants.

It is Betis who have reached an agreement with Roma and according to Sky Italia, Sanabria is to have a medical with the Seville-based club later today.

Sanabria spent last season in La Liga on loan at Sporting Gijon and helped the club to avoid relegation.

His performances caught the eye and now Sanabria will be back in La Liga on a permanent basis.

He joined Roma from Barcelona in 2014, but was forced to first play for Sassuolo due to the capital club having already hit their quota of foreign players.

Sanabria struggled to make an impact with Roma and was then loaned out to Sporting Gijon in search of regular first team football.

At Real Betis he will play under former Tottenham midfielder Gus Poyet.
