Aston Villa pair Carlos Sanchez and Jordan Veretout are both interested in joining Marseille this summer.

The duo suffered the pain of relegation from the Premier League to the Championship last season, but are now eyeing the exit door at Villa Park as the heavy slog of a season in England's second tier looms.

Marseille have sold a raft of players this summer and another is set to depart in the shape of winger Georges-Kevin N'Koudou, who is to link up with Tottenham Hotspur in the coming days.

Now Marseille have turned their attention to reinforcements and both Sanchez and Veretout are on the radar.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, both Aston Villa players are interested in making the move to the Stade Velodrome.
