Lazio have increased their offer for West Ham United striker Enner Valencia, but it has still not met with approval from the Hammers.

The Rome giants are chasing the Ecuador international this summer and have been encouraged by being the striker's first choice when it comes to departing the Olympic Stadium outfit.

However, Lazio have not yet managed to present a proposal which is acceptable to West Ham.

Their latest, according to Sky Italia, would see West Ham receive a fee of €3m for loaning Valencia to Lazio for the season, while if the striker featured in 50 per cent of the club's games then a mandatory €10m purchase clause would kick in.

Valencia has already given his approval to a move to Lazio and is keen to sample Serie A.
