Chelsea are considering a double summer swoop for Lazio duo Antonio Candreva and Marco Parolo, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia.

Candreva has been linked with a move away from Lazio this summer, and his agent recently said that his client is looking for a new challenge, with Chelsea mooted to be interested in the player.

The winger was part of Antonio Conte’s Italy squad which bowed out of the European Championship in the quarter-finals this summer, and the Chelsea boss is keen to take the 29-year-old to Stamford Bridge.

However, Candreva might not be the only Lazio player who could join Chelsea this summer, as it has been claimed that Conte is also keeping a close watch on 31-year-old midfielder Parolo.

Joining Lazio from Parma in 2014, the veteran midfielder is a key part of the squad at the Stadio Olimpico, and made 40 appearances in all competitions for the club last season.

The new Chelsea boss is said to be keen to add the midfielder’s experience to his squad this summer, and is considering making a play for Parolo in the coming days.

Conte is still assessing his squad, but he is expected to take a decision to move for the Lazio duo as he looks to add a few of his trusted players to his team ahead of the new season.

The Italian has already nabbed Michy Batshuayi and N’Golo Kante this summer, and is preparing to add a few more new faces before the new season starts next month.
