Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is beginning to get serious in the summer transfer window and the Blues have put in a bid of €60m for Romelu Lukaku, according to Sky Italia.

Former Italy coach Conte wants a top class striker bringing in at Stamford Bridge to increase his attacking options and the Blues have been linked with several players, including Spain international hitman Alvaro Morata.

Now Chelsea have switched their attention to Lukaku, who is proven in the Premier League, and slapped in a €60m bid to Everton for the Belgium international.

The London club have already bought Michy Batshuayi from Marseille, forking out €40m for the striker.

If Everton accept the bid, Chelsea would be able to field an all-Belgian front two, at a cost of a cool €100m.
