Tottenham Hotspur linked midfielder Sofiane Boufal has insisted that he would not have a problem continuing at Lille beyond the summer.

The 22-year-old creative midfielder is currently nursing a knee injury, but has been heavily tipped to make a move away from Lille this summer, with a few top clubs vying for his signature.

Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund have already been linked with the midfielder and there have been suggestions recently that even Wolfsburg are interested in snapping him up.

Despite all the rumours, Boufal stressed that he has not said a word about leaving Lille this summer. While he is ready to assess any offers, the Moroccan insisted that he is not hankering for a transfer away from the Ligue 1 outfit.

Boufal told French sports daily L’Equipe: “Personally I have never said that I will leave Lille; not a word came out of my mouth.

“However, if a club come up with an offer that is feasible for everyone, we will all discuss it together.

“But if all the conditions of a transfer are not fulfilled, it won’t bother me to stay at Lille.”

Boufal joined Lille from SCO Angers in January last year, and has scored 15 goals and assisted 10 more in 51 appearances for the club thus far.

He has also been capped twice by the Moroccan national team.
