Inter Milan are pushing to sign Chelsea linked Antonio Candreva this summer, but are unable to match Lazio’s valuation of the player at the moment.

The 29-year-old winger is being tipped to leave Lazio this summer, and his agent has already let it be known to his suitors that he is looking forward to a new challenge at a new club.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for the Italy winger, with speculation suggesting that Antonio Conte wants him to be part of a double swoop along with Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo.

However, Chelsea might face severe competition from Inter, who have identified Candreva as a top target for the summer window, and are pushing to take him to the San Siro.

But according to Sky Italia, the Nerazzurri are finding it hard to match Lazio’s valuation of the player, and are struggling to reach an agreement over a fee with the Roman giants.

At the moment, Inter are only offering a fee of around €18m, but Lazio are demanding a figure to the tune of €25m, which the Nerazzurri hierarchy are refusing to sanction.

Napoli are also interested in the player, and are close to Lazio’s valuation of the player, but they are yet to reach an agreement with Candreva himself.
