West Ham United are close-ish to signing two players and hope to have one over the line over the course of the next week, the co-chairman's son has claimed.

Slaven Bilic's men are aiming to make a splash in their first season at the Olympic Stadium and have been linked with a number of big names this summer.

The Hammers had been pushing hard for AC Milan hitman Carlos Bacca, but the trail has recently gone cold as the Colombian looks to move to a club in the Champions League.

And they are closing in on doing two deals, David Sullivan's son Jack has confirmed.

Asked on the West Ham Way forum whether the side are close to any signings, Jack replied: "We are close-ish to signing two players, with at least one being done in the next week or so I reckon!

West Ham have also been linked with Real Madrid winger James Rodriguez and highly-rated Argentine striker Jonathan Calleri.
