Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira is determined that defender Victor Lindelof will not leave the Estadio da Luz for a fee below his €30m release clause.

Chelsea have been strongly linked with moving for the tough-tackling defender, but Benfica have yet to receive an official approach from the Premier League side.

And the Blues appear likely to have to splash out the full €30m total of Lindelof's release clause if they are to take him to Stamford Bridge.

Indeed, according to Portuguese sports daily A Bola, Vieira is not willing to negotiate on the Swedish defender's price tag as he wants the full €30m to be paid.

Benfica signed Lindelof from Swedish outfit Vasteras SK in 2012 and he progressed through the club's B team to the senior side.
