Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela has credited the mutual understanding between himself and his team-mates for his success at White Hart Lane.

The 2016/17 season will be the Argentine's fourth in a white shirt, having joined Spurs from Italian outfit Roma in 2013.

During his time at the club the 24-year-old has flourished, going on to become a source of goals for the team and also a major assist provider.

The player on his part thanks his team-mates for having assisted his adaptation process, while also acknowledging his own contribution towards the side, which he believes was crucial in the team's progress last season.

Praising the effort the team put up last season, the young winger insisted that the fight is always there. The player also insists that the effort next season will be to try and get the team one step up so that they can be even better next time around.
