Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers admits that he is looking to bring in a few fresh faces before next week’s Champions League qualifier.

Despite a first leg defeat in Gibraltar, Celtic took care of things at home last night when three first half goals helped them to extinguish Lincoln Red Imp’s challenge in the Champions League second qualifying round tie.

The Bhoys moved on to the third qualification round, where they will take on Kazakh outfit FC Astana next week away from home in the first game of the two-legged affair.

Rodgers was happy with his team’s performance last night, but admits that he needs new signings and the Celtic manager wants a couple of fresh faces before next week’s crucial European qualifier.

The Celtic boss told the club’s official website: “There’s no doubt we need one or two more that I want to bring in so let’s hope we can do something before that [Champions League transfer window] closes.
