West Ham United have rekindled their interest in AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca and are hoping an improved contract offer can tempt him to the Olympic Stadium.

The Hammers were in for Bacca earlier this summer and agreed a fee of €27m plus €3m in add-ons with AC Milan for his signature.

However, amid interest from Atletico Madrid and Arsenal, Bacca rejected the chance to move to West Ham as he was only keen to leave AC Milan for a club playing in the Champions League next season.

West Ham are trying their luck again however, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Hammers are increasing their contract offer for Bacca to €4.5m net per season and are now pushing hard to complete the move.
