Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of German forward Andre Schurrle from Wolfsburg.

Schurrle, 25, has signed for Dortmund for an estimated €30m fee and has penned a five-year deal at the Signal Iduna Park based club. .




The capture means that Dortmund have signed the creator of the goal that won Germany the FIFA World Cup 2014 just days after signing the man who scored that goal – Mario Gotze – from Bayern Munich for a €26m fee.

Schurrle made 29 Bundesliga appearances for Dieter Hecking’s side last season, scoring nine times and assisting five times as Wolfsburg finished eighth in the league after finishing as high as second in the 2014/15 season.
 


The Germany international joined Wolfsburg from Premier League giants Chelsea, where he made a total of 44 Premier League appearances spanning a season and a half after plying his trade with Bayer Leverkusen.

He has 55 Germany caps to his name.
