Arsenal linked striker Mauro Icardi is keen to join Napoli this summer despite Inter Milan’s refusal to entertain offers for the Argentine.

The 23-year-old striker recently said that he is happy at Inter, but speculation surrounding his future at the San Siro has refused to die down over the last few days.

Napoli, who are about to lose Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus, are keen on seeing the Argentine replace his compatriot at the San Paolo, and have slapped in a bid for the Inter captain.

The Naples giants have also offered him more money, but Inter Milan are in no mood to sell the 23-year-old, and have made it clear that Icardi will continue in the Nerazzurri colours.

However, according to Radio CRC, the striker has made his choice clear, and he wants to wear the Napoli colours next season despite Inter’s insistence on holding on to him.

Napoli have also received encouragement to keep chasing the Inter striker, and it has been claimed that they are ready to offer up to €60m to convince the Milan giants to sell the Argentine.

Icardi has also been linked with a move to Arsenal, but it seems at the moment Napoli are the only serious players in the market for the Inter skipper.
