Carlos Tevez has ended any thoughts of him returning to the Premier League or indeed leaving Boca Juniors for anywhere, despite links with Chelsea, West Ham and Napoli.

The 32-year-old has been linked with the trio, though recently it was claimed he was leaving Boca Juniors to head to Brazil with Corinthians, something which did not happen, with both clubs denying holding talks.

He remains a highly rated hitman, but is clear in his desire to remain at boyhood club Boca Juniors for the rest of his career, ruling out a switch elsewhere.

Tevez was quoted as saying by beIN Sports: "I'm going to carry on at Boca, whether Napoli, Chelsea or anyone else comes.

"I'll continue here to fight with my team-mates", the 32-year-old explained.

"I always try to do the best for the club and my idea has always been to retire at Boca", Tevez added.

Tevez headed to Europe with West Ham in 2006, before enjoying a spell with Manchester United.

The striker then played for the Red Devils' rivals Manchester City. He signed for Juventus in 2013 and after a two-year stint in Italy, returned to his first club in professional football in the shape of Boca Juniors.
