West Ham are expected to get back to work to convince AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca to move to England this summer.

The Hammers have already thrashed out an agreement with the Rossoneri for the signature of the Colombian striker, but have so far failed to agree a contract with Bacca.

The Colombian has already rebuffed West Ham twice this summer, and is said to be waiting for a Champions League club to make an offer for him ahead of the new campaign.

There have been suggestions that West Ham could be turning their attention towards other targets in recent days, but according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, the Hammers have not yet lost hope of signing the 29-year-old hitman.

It has been claimed that the Hammers are set to go back to the drawing board and prepare another offer as they look to convince Bacca to move to east London this summer.

AC Milan are also keen to see Bacca leave as soon as possible as the proceeds from his sale would unlock their plans for the transfer window.

Bacca joined the Rossoneri from Sevilla last summer, and scored 20 goals in 43 appearances in his first season in Italy.
