Chelsea winger Victor Moses says that he wants to show that he is working hard for the Stamford Bridge based club.

25-year-old Moses, who as loaned out to West Ham last season, made only 26 appearances for the Hammers, scoring once and assisting twice as Slaven Bilic’s side finished seventh in the Premier League.

The Nigerian joined Chelsea in 2012 from Wigan Athletic and has had loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.

Moses, who has made only 44 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions since joining, has said that he wants to prove that he is working hard for the club.

He told the official Chelsea website: “I came back to start my pre-season early with the group of players who had been on loan last season, which helped as well, but to be honest, I just want to enjoy my football.

“I want the fans to be able to recognise I am doing something good for the club, but at the same time I want to work hard for the team and make sure we win games.

“We have played two games so far so we still need to get our fitness up and we have a game coming up against Liverpool which is going to be good for us.”

Moses was among Chelsea’s standout performers during the Blues’ opening two pre-season friendlies and could feature during their upcoming International Champions Cup clash against Liverpool.

Antonio Conte’s men open their Premier League campaign at home to West Ham on 15th August, followed by a trip to Vicarage Road.
