Inter are weighing up a swoop for Chelsea target Victor Lindelof, as they look to increase their defensive options ahead of the new Serie A season.

Jeison Murillo has been linked with leaving Inter this summer and has attracted interest from a number of clubs.

And Inter are already planning for life without Murillo as, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, the Nerazzurri are looking at moving for Benfica defender Lindelof.

However, Inter could well face opposition for the Swedish centre-back as Premier League giants Chelsea are keen.

It had been claimed the Blues were making an approach for Lindelof, however Benfica are yet to recieve a bid for the defender and are insisting his release clause is met.
