Arsenal and Roma are expected to reach an agreement regarding Wojciech Szczesny’s loan move to Italy later today.

The 26-year-old custodian spent last season on loan at Roma, playing as their first choice between the sticks and the Pole is keen to continue to wear the Giallorossi colours next term.

Roma have been in talks with Arsenal for weeks over a deal for Szczesny, and after some frustration, it seems both clubs are expected to reach an agreement.

And according to Sky Italia, the final terms of the agreement will be agreed by the end of the day in order to help the Pole return to Roma in the current transfer window.

Roma have agreed to pay a loan fee of around €1m to Arsenal to extend Szczesny’s stay at the Stadio Olimpico, but it is unclear whether they have an option to make the move permanent.
