Manchester United are set to increase their offer for Paul Pogba after holding talks with Mino Raiola and Juventus yesterday, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Red Devils have been in serious negotiations with Juventus over the last week or so in order to reach an agreement for the signature of Pogba this summer.

Manchester United’s current offer for the Frenchman stands at €110m, which is still short of Juventus’ €120m valuation of the 23-year-old midfielder, and it seems the Red Devils are ready to up the ante in the coming days.

Raiola was in Milan yesterday to hold talks with Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta, and the meeting also involved a conference call with Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

After lengthy discussions, Manchester United have agreed to raise their offer for the Pogba in order take the deal over the line as soon as possible.

Raiola's agent fee is also believed to be a sticking point between the both clubs, but the English giants have reached a compromise with Raiola that would see an agreement reached in the next few days.

While a few details of the agreement are yet to be sorted out, the deal is in its final stretch and Pogba is expected to again become a Red Devil this summer.
