Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent has insisted that he is not aware of any new Chelsea bid for his client, but stressed that the player wants to leave the San Paolo this summer.

The 25-year-old Senegalese has been tipped to leave Napoli in the coming month or so, despite the Serie A giants trying to convince him to stay and sign a new deal.

Chelsea and Everton are currently the front runners in the chase for Koulibaly, but the Toffees have reportedly offered more money for the former Genk man in order to beat Antonio Conte’s men to the post.

However, there is speculation that Chelsea have placed a new offer on Napoli’s table, believed to be more than €45m, but his agent Bruno Satin conceded that he is not aware of such a bid.

But he added that the player remains determined to leave Napoli this summer.

When asked about Chelsea’s new bid, Satin told Italian broadcaster Sportitalia: “Not to my knowledge, but I confirm that he wants to leave.

“I reiterate my recent words on the future of the boy.”

His current contract with Napoli expires in 2019 and he was a key man in the Azzurri's second place finish in Serie A last season.
