New Leeds United signing Kemar Roofe is ready to play in multiple attacking positions as long as he makes the starting eleven.

The League Two Player of the Year joined Leeds from Oxford United this summer after a scintillating campaign, where he scored the goals needed to fire his former team into League One.

The former West Brom forward has looked the part during Leeds’ pre-season preparations, but despite his goalscoring ability, head coach Garry Monk has used him as a left sided attacker in a front three in recent games.

Roofe is not worried about his position as long as he is playing regularly and in an attacking role, and stressed that he is ready to show his versatility for the sake of his team.

When asked about his favourite position, the Leeds forward told LUTV: “Anywhere.

“As long as I am playing, that’s what matters.”

Roofe will be hoping to cement his place in the starting eleven for next week’s visit to Queens Park Rangers with a positive performance against Atalanta this weekend.
