Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino expects to strengthen his squad over the coming weeks ahead of the new Premier League season, but he is not leaving any clues as to what business he might be set to do.

Spurs are expected to snap up winger Georges-Kevin N'Koudou from Marseille for €13m soon, with Clinton N'Jie going the other way on a season-long loan agreement.

But the White Hart Lane side are likely to make other signings too, especially as they have Champions League football to look forward to in the 2016/17 campaign.

Asked at a press conference in Australia about his transfer dealings, Pochettino replied: "I expect some signings over the next few weeks.

"We will see what happens. We expect some activity, yes", the Argentine added.

Pochettino was pushed on what positions he is looking to strengthen – and he gave nothing away.

"[Laughs]. You want to know too much", he said, smiling back.

Spurs finished in third spot in the Premier League last season and have already added to their squad, snapping up midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton and striker Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar.

However, with Pochettino desperate to make sure his side do not slip out of the top four, further additions are set to arrive to bolster his options.
