Kristoffer Ajer is dreaming of Celtic reaching the Champions League final during his time at the club.

A deal to take the promising Norwegian midfielder to Paradise was done earlier this year, however he only arrived at the club this summer.

Ajer is playing under a different manager to the one who signed him, with his countryman Ronny Deila having been replaced by former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.

Just 18 years old, the Norwegian has already had a taste of the Champions League with Celtic, featuring in the club's second qualifying round tie second leg against Gibraltarian minnows Lincoln Red Imps.

And he is already dreaming about the Bhoys going far in Europe's premier club competition at some point.

Asked what he wishes for by Celtic TV, Ajer replied: "I wish Celtic once will be in the Champions League final."

Celtic have won the forerunner to the Champions League, the European Cup, in 1967, while they again reached the final three years later, being edged out by Feyenoord.
