Chelsea linked midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah’s agent has revealed that his client won’t be leaving Juventus this summer.

Antonio Conte signed the Ghana international from Udinese in 2012 during his time as Juventus coach, and there has been speculation that the he could look to take him to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are said to be in the market for one more midfielder and Asamoah is believed to be one of the names on their shortlist of targets, but the Ghanaian is unlikely to leave Juventus.

Edoardo Crnjar, the player’s agent, stressed that the midfielder wants to stay at Juventus beyond the summer, squashing speculation of a move to Chelsea.

“He will remain there next year.”

Asamoah has played an important role in Juventus’ domination over Italy in recent campaigns, but last season he struggled to remain fit, which diminished his influence in the team.

Despite the arrival of Miralem Pjanic, the Ghana international is sure to be confident of regaining his regular spot in Massimiliano Allegri’s team next season.
