Manchester United are expected to complete the signature of France midfielder Paul Pogba from Juventus by the end of the day, it has been claimed in Italy.

After lengthy discussions between the clubs, Manchester United and Juventus finally reached an agreement for the transfer of the midfielder to Old Trafford earlier this week.




Super agent Mino Raiola held further talks with Juventus’ legal team after lunch yesterday to finalise the minor details of the agreement, and there is speculation that Pogba has flown to Los Angeles to undergo a part of his medical with the Red Devils.

And with a medical said to be taking place in the US, it has been claimed that Manchester United and Juventus are close to announcing their agreement officially.
 


According to Turin-based daily La Stampa, the midfielder is expected to be become a Manchester United player again by the end of the day.

The midfielder joined Juventus from Manchester United in 2012 due to a lack of opportunities at Old Trafford, but is set to return after winning four Serie A titles with the Bianconeri.

Pogba is set to earn a salary of around €13m per season at Old Trafford, and coupled with his image rights worth €7m, his total earnings is expected to touch €20m annually.

Manchester United have agreed to pay a fee of €110m plus add-ons for Pogba, which would break the world record fee Real Madrid forked out for Gareth Bale in 2013.
